Survey Says
: Congratulations to Dean Crowson, winner of a brand new Apple iPad from ST Imaging!
Dean participated with many others this summer in our Library
Scanning Survey, either at the ALA Annual Conference or with an online
entry from the S-T Imaging website. We received hundreds of very helpful
survey results and thank all who participated. The majority of
responders reported that they see the benefit of digital book scanning
solutions, but that the solutions must be easy to use, able to copy the
page all the way to the spine without damaging bound books and be much
lower in cost than what is seen on the market today. We have listened
and responded.
Second Chance at an iPad
We're sorry that we couldn't give an iPad out to everyone but we will be giving another one away at the ALA Midwinter Meeting this January in San Diego. Just stop by ST Imaging booth #916, leave your business card and you will be entered to win.
Collection Scanning Solutions
ST Imaging is already known as a leading provider of digital film
scanning and viewing solutions. We are growing in spite of the economy
because our systems work great; they are lower in cost, have the latest
technology and are easy to use. We have a growing group of local
resellers worldwide, a new logo and a new look to complement our new,
larger mission. We are pleased to introduce an expanding line of ST Imaging Collection Scanning Solutions.
ST
BookScan Center™ Scan large format books and documents to USB flash drive
We are now bringing ease-of-use, low-cost, high-quality and new
technology breakthrough solutions to other areas of your library,
genealogy center and staff and public use locations for books and
bound materials.
The ST BookScan Center ™
is a stand-alone scanning system for public location uses. The system
is easy to use and does not require user training. Prompts on the touch
screen display guide the user through the scanning process and enable
them to save books, bound materials and documents in a variety of
formats. It can scan up to A3 size page (12" x 17") in just 2.4 seconds.
The ST BookScan Center™ was created based on the concept of book
preservation, digitization of content and sharing of the book
electronically. The BookScan Center's 2mm book edge design can scan
thick books without
unbinding or dismantling them - a perfect solution for digitizing
precious and valuable books and documents. The optional payment system
can be added for organizations that want to generate revenue from
system use.
